Landscape Design

The next stage from the consultation is the Landscape Design. In a two stage design process detailed plans are developed to provide an accurate visualisation of your future garden space. An initial meeting at your home or site (generally between 2-4 hrs) will establish the project brief and allow Paul to undertake a comprehensive site analysis. The developed Concept Plan will highlight the agreed design ideas and provide an indicative planting layout. Following presentation of the Concept Plan your amendments and/or additions are noted before proceeding to the Final Design Plan.  The Final Design Plan refines and showcases the finalised design components both in plan and elevation views and provides a detailed planting layout and schedule.

• Landscape Design - $2,600* inc GST

(based on a level, average 800m2 block but subject to site circumstances and complexity. Front or Rear design negotiable but notionally $1600 inc GST)

Additionally Paul offers a Budget Design format. Useful for small gardens, DIY or where you know what you want but only require a simple design layout to conceptualise. As per the Landscape Design it still requires establishment of the project brief and a site analysis but skips the concept plan stage. It includes a full planting layout but is generally smaller in size, less detailed and B/W.

• Budget Design Plan - $1500* inc. GST

(based on a level, average 800m2 block but subject to site circumstances and complexity. Front or Rear design negotiable but notionally $800 inc GST)

Alternatively you may be satisfied with your existing garden layout but just want to overhaul the existing planting. A Plant Design Plan (in Budget Design format) will provide considered and appropriate planting solutions to revitalise and redefine your existing garden including preparation and planting notes.

• Planting Design Plan - $1500* inc GST 

(based on average 800m2 block but subject to site circumstances and complexity. Front or Rear design negotiable but notionally $800 inc GST)

A Survey Plan including contour levels and
a Soil Report will be required for most designs and will represent an additional cost to the design. The Budget Design may only require establishment of a datum and spot levels and the Planting Design Plan will only require a soil report. Estimated costs are -

• Survey Plan - $600-$800 inc GST

• Soil Report - $200
